AMA Summer Training Camp 2012

AMA Summer Training Camp Easter 2012 The AMA have organised an 'All Styles Martial; Arts' Summer Training Camp for Easter 2012 to be held in Havens Holiday Park, Gwynedd, North Wales for 7 nights commencing on Friday 6th April 2012. 

The estimated cost will be approximately £85 per person for the 7 days; this is based on the type of accommodation and occupancy. Full access to all of Havens great facilities is included in the price, this is an opportunity for all the family to participate, various activities will be organised to ensure fun for everyone.

Daily Martial arts training from AMA executive officers Peter Allen 7th Dan & Christine Pullan 7th Dan who will be addressing both Shitoryu & Shotokan Kata's as well as the finer points of Sport Kumite. Weapons will also be shown by Sensei Allen at one of the 6 training sessions.

Approximate training time is around 3-4 hours, preferably in the morning and early afternoon. This is so that you can enjoy the many liesure activities the site and the beautiful surroundings that Northern Wales has to offer.

Instructors are encouraged to get involed and play an active part in instruction of all the members that attend. Please contact Peter Wright for discounts for instructors willing to offer their skills and experience, which makes for an enjoyable experience for everone that attends.

We will also be running a Multi Style Martial Arts Competition (Based on Styles attending) within one of Havens Activitiy Halls. Referee's and Officials in all styles are asked to contact Peter Wright if they can help in any way.

AMA Gradings following the course seminars on the last day before departure, will also be undertaken by the AMA Technical Committee, only those attending the lessons over the week may attend. Gradings will be charged at the current rate on Dan grades. All Kyu grades up to 1st Kyu are £20 per garde.

Darryl Bagaley the AMA Medical Officer will also be holding a First Aid seminar on one of the days.
